The Final Season of LOST Will Be Interrupted By The Olympics

lost2

There is almost nothing I'm looking forward to more, in the realm of movies, television or books, than the final season of Lost. For those of you hoping that we'd have a seamless run for the final chapter of the sci-fi television series, I have some bad news for you. The bad news takes the form of the Winter Olympic games, which will cut into the sixth season.

While no official broadcast dates have yet been announced, and the games are being broadcast on NBC (not ABC), series showrunner Cartlon Cuse has revealed to IGN that ABC will take a time out during the Winter Olympics after the first few episodes, which are tentatively scheduled to begin in January. Lost will take a break and resume the season in early March. Let me be the first to say, "fuck the Olympics."
