Trouble Losing Weight [Forum]

Hi. I currently weigh 171.5 lbs and I've been exercising lightly and limiting my portion size for around 2 weeks already. There is a huge culprit: I'm asian and I LOVE rice!!! Especially white rice. I love carbohydrates. My weight has NOT fluctuated much at all even though I feel like I eat less (low fat fruit smoothie for breakfast, 1 1/12 cup rice and salad for lunch, 1 1/12 cup rice and salad and some ham for dinner) and exercise more (15-17 min of cardio in the morning 6x/week).

What am I doing wrong??? I really want to lose weight!
