Jason Segal Performs "Dracula's Lament" on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson

Last night was the one thousandth episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, but evidently interns backstage failed to inform the ever-emo Dracula of the celebration. And not helping to curb his Transylmania-prolonged depression was the fact that Ferguson's Wavy the Alligator attempted to chomp his hand-puppet thunder as the ep's defacto host. The upside? Drac was there alongside beanied actor/songwriter Jason Segal to perform "Dracula's Lament," their hit moody ballad that first appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Watch the concert and more, below.

If you're wondering, the backing band in the clip above is Los Angeles quintet The Broken West, who are signed to Chapel Hill's Merge Records. Back in September, we reported that Disney and Segal had officially agreed to make The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made, a dream project Segal wrote and will star in. Further details have not been announced, but Segal has said the film will involve Jim Henson's Muppets facing off with an oil maven. It's worth mentioned that Ferguson also got in on the puppet-song action: Wavy and his shark pal opened the show with a mall-country anthem that I am not going to bother Googling…complete with video-hoes…

Here is one of the original scenes from Marshall per Segal's Dracula musical…

"And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the Lord I will slay him!" But what about Pasty Pattinson?
