Beast Battles Magneto on Set of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

Beast Close Up

As you read this, three major superhero movies are shooting out in the open, and set photos are proliferating. There's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which has been shooting in New York for over two months now, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been in various cities across the country for weeks. The latest is X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Director Bryan Singer is currently in Montreal, Quebec shooting the sequel to X-Men: First Class. Thursday, a day after giving us a glimpse at Magneto and a two months after showing us Beast, those two characters are going at it. Check out some images of Nicholas Hoult, in full updated Beast make-up, fighting Michael Fassbender's villain below. Obviously, minor spoilers follow.

Thanks to Fan-Girl.org for these great images. These are just a few of the best, the site has many more.

I must say – Beast looks pretty great here, especially in the cool '70s garb we've seen some other X-Men characters in. At this point, this movie is such a massive question mark, any little glimpse gets us that much closer to solving the mystery. We'll get all the answers just over a year from now when X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on July 18, 2014. (Or, maybe, at San Diego Comic-Con 2013).
