Mark your calendars. Sony has just set a June 6, 2014 release date for 21 Jump Street 2, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be back to direct the comedy sequel, which will see the undercover cops heading to college.
Sony also dated two other big summer movies for 2014. They already have The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opening on May 2 but they also dated Think Like A Man Too, the sequel to Tim Story comedy starring Kevin Hart, for June 20 and Sex Tape, Jake Kasdan's comedy starring Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz as a couple whose homemade video goes mainstream, for July 2. That last one is a huge vote of confidence for the comedy, as it'll open on one of the busiest weekends of the year, opposite Disney's Maleficent. Jump Street opens against the new Ninja Turtles.
