I'm 23 years old, and I need help making a routine that is going to help me lose about 20 pounds, and also tone and tighten everything, especially my legs.
I don't weigh myself too often, so I'm not sure what I weigh exactly. But, I'm pretty sure it's somewhere between 135 and 140 pounds. I'm pretty short at 5 feet 2 inches.
I know that 135 pounds isn't really fat, but it is overweight, and I'm not happy with my body. I had a baby 2 years ago, and lost all the baby weight, but didn't excercise at all, so I never "tightened up."
I feel like I'm small and petite, but I have a layer of flabby fat all over my body. Not to mention cellulite on thighs and butt ;((
My eating habits are awful since I love to eat, and love food. The past two days I've been eating small meals, and healthy snacks like carrots and fruit. I've also been doing about 1/2 hour of aerobics, and 20+ minutes of Pilates, with a few quick workouts here and there.
The thing is, and I know it's not fair, but I need to have some sort of gratification soon (yes even though I'm only on my 3rd day), because I'm easily discouraged. I know that excercising is great, but I just don't enjoy it. I try so hard!!
So, now that you've read my boring story, does anyone out there have any tips for a routine? Or, any tips to really get the most out of what I'm doing? Also, are the excercises I'm doing going to give me results? And, is it enough time?
